KOSMOS
KOSMOS is an architectural office which realizes projects of any scale: from a door handle to a city; and of any type: from art installations and pavilions to multifunctional residential, industrial and cultural objects. KOSMOS combines art and technology, experience from the best international practices with attention to local specifics.
KOSMOS won the “Prix de Geneve” Award for Best Experimental Architecture in Geneva, was nominated for the Swiss Art and Design Awards and many others. The projects of K O S M O Sare the prize-winners and finalists in numerous international competitions: Europan 16; H.C. Andersen Museum in Denmark; Museum of Modern Art in Geneva; Nike sports center in Moscow and many others. The projects of the office have won numerous awards: “Best Sports Building” (Milano Archmarathon Awards); “Best Building in Wood” (Archiwood); Best Public Space; etc. KOSMOS work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, the Garage Museum, the Milano Triennale, in the Swiss Museum of Architecture, at the New York Institute of Architects and many other institutions.
In addition to the practical work, KOSMOS is involved in research and teaching activities. KOSMOS leads architecture studios at HEAD (Geneva University of Arts and Design), at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology), and at the MARCH School of Architecture.
